Relentless Hope Ministries was founded in 2019 by Brian and Susan. All of us at RHM are passionate about seeing individuals, marriages, and families discover a loving Father who has been and always will be, pursuing them.
Our culture would call us pastoral counselors, mentors and encouragers. It’s all pretty fancy sounding titles for the call on this ministry…to testify of His Relentless Hope to those in pain, alienated, broken and feeling lost.
Because of our history living overseas as missionaries, the intentional focus of our lives now is on those serving overseas, often in isolated and difficult locations . A life in missions, while intensely rewarding, can present unique challenges that missionaries and overseas workers must often walk alone, without the help of counselors, pastors or close friends. The weight of it can build over time and greatly impact the missionary’s personal life, marriage, kids, family and work.
Our joy is to walk alongside these people, to be able to come to their location and serve as pastoral counselors and mentors, instead of individuals and families having to uproot and relocate “home” to receive help and care. We are most commonly functioning in the role of pastoral care and counseling, but our passion for the reality of Jesus coming into peoples lives has found us in many different roles and functions. From humanitarian crisis response to one on one ministry, our great joy is to show up and watch how He wraps up the hurting and restores to them His Relentless Hope!
Our actual home base is in Oregon. Throughout the year though we live from our suitcase as we follow Him to serve individuals, teams and several different missions.
